Tom - Amarillo, Texas

Tom - Amarillo High School
What did you do after graduating?
Tom - Joined the Marines the summer after graduating high school, worked at Discount Tire Company in high school and during that summer.

Tom - Discount Tire Company
What do you do for a living?
Tom - Project Management
What inspired you to pursue your job?
Tom - During my time in the Marines, I conducted and managed counterintelligence, human Intelligence and special activities all over the world. Gaining seniority through experience I enjoyed the management aspect, allowing me to affect the outcome of an operation or mission, as well as making sure my guys got everything they needed.

Tom - Honest, Proven, Functionality
What are some of your achievements?
Tom - First is my son and daughter. Following that would be deploying to combat four times, identifying, finding and eliminating personnel and threats to our service members and Americans. Most recent was being part of a small Operating Base, which conducted operations prior to the fall of Kabul in 2021, during Operations Allies Refuge and was on the last sortie out on Aug 31 2021. Resulting in over 1,000 Americans, allies and SIV holders rescued. As well as locating numerous enemy strike locations.
What are your goals and aspirations?
Tom - My goals would be to be the best father I can be. Continue to help people out in any way I can. Maybe in the future open a brewery.
Is there anything else you would like to say to our veteran community and customers?
Tom - Keep on pushing, don't get lazy and never feel you are entitled to anything, everything needs to be earned.
