Meet Ryan McKindley.
Ryan is a firefighter for a large Fire Department located in Central California as well as a certified badass. He's a jack of all trades and has a heavy skillset in everything from skydiving, rock climbing, paragliding, surfing, scuba diving and backpacking just to name a few. And when he's not saving lives or active in one of his many hobbies, he runs a handyman business
Here is Ryan in his element at about 13,000 feet in the sky. Just something you do as an everyday-elite person.
The Interview
Question 1 - What were you born?
Ryan - "I was born in Ventura, California but raised in Bakersfield."
Questions 2 - What school did you attend?
Ryan - "I attended Frontier High and Bakersfield College."
Questions 3 - What did you do after graduating?
Ryan - "After graduation I became a firefighter and then later became self-employed through a handyman business that I run when off duty."
Question 4 - What do you like to do in your free time?
Ryan - "I greatly enjoy many outdoor activities such as skydiving, rock climbing, and paragliding."
Question 5 - What is your role at Woobies?
Ryan - "I am an avid wearer of the MOD-1's, just happy to show my support by wearing them."
Question 6 - When did you get involved with Woobies?
Ryan - "I first learned about Woobies and got my hands on a pair of MOD-1's about two months ago and since then, they have replaced my Vans immediately."
Question 7 - What are your goals and aspirations?
Ryan - "A goal that I have set out to achieve is to work on my State Fire Marshal Instructor requirements for technical rope rescue in the Fire Service."
Questions 8 - Is there anything you would like to say to our veteran community and customers?
Ryan - "All we have control over is our attitude and effort, keep the discipline, and if you see it you own it. Carry your own weight and pick up slack where you can, the rest of it will fall into place."
